About the Role
Location: Elgin – Working hours: 35 hours or 20 hours per week, shifts 7:30 am–12:00 pm and/or 3:00 pm–10:00 pm. Pay: £13.45 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist Craig with personal care tasks.
* Support Craig with moving and handling activities.
* Provide positive behavioural support.
* Encourage and help plan Craig’s daily routines and enjoyable activities.
* Assist with shopping, community trips, and other errands.
* Expand Craig’s social networks and community connections.
* Encourage Craig to pursue hobbies such as walks, cinema visits, beach walks, swimming, bus trips, cooking.
About the Person Supported
Craig is an independent young man with a range of interests including :
* Going on trips by car
* Visiting the cinema
* Walks along the beach
* Swimming
* Bus trips and community exploration
* Cooking (he enjoys trying new recipes)
Required Skills and Qualifications
* No prior care experience required.
* Strong commitment and dedication to supporting Craig.
* Ability to adapt to varying support needs.
* Must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of start date.
