About The Role. We are seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to join The Very Group. Reporting to the Merchandiser, this role offers opportunities to develop your skills further. You will act as a Brand Specialist for a global strategic brand partner, managing relationships and collaborating with buying and merchandising teams to ensure the right stock is delivered at the right time to our customers.
We look for motivated individuals with attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for data analysis. Experience as an established Assistant Merchandiser is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain and develop strong partnerships with our key strategic brand partners, ensuring clear communication and strategic alignment.
2. Trade Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales, stock, and supplier performance reports to support decision-making and share insights weekly with account managers.
3. Critical Path Management: Support merchandise plan execution through order reconciliation, purchase order creation, and tracking to ensure timely product delivery.
4. Stock Management: Collaborate with the merchandise planner on stock flow, replenishment, and cross-functional coordination to optimize volume and margin.
5. Customer Feedback Integration: Use customer reviews and feedback to inform buying decisions and improve product offerings.
