What You’ll Do
* Own system installs & commissioning - set up advanced microscopy platforms and train users to hit the ground running.
* Keep systems at peak performance - deliver expert preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Troubleshoot like a pro - dig deep into hardware/software issues and resolve them fast, onsite or remotely.
* Build strong customer relationships - deliver confident communication, clear training, and dependable support.
* Upgrade & optimize systems - calibrate components and implement performance-boosting enhancements.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Life Science, or similar.
* 3-5 years of field service experience with microscopy or analytical instruments.
* Skilled with multimeters, oscilloscopes, schematics, and Windows systems.
* Physically capable of working in tight spaces and lifting up to 50 lbs.
* Valid driver's license, passport, and willingness to travel Monday-Friday.
Bonus Points
* Hands‑on experience with AFM, SEM, fluorescence, or confocal microscopy.
* Strong workflow understanding of imaging software and calibration.
* Clean, methodical work habits and a love for continuous learning.
$90,000-$110,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
