Role Details:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee a team of construction managers on a major EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project based in Glasgow. This role spans the full lifecycle; from engineering phase through to client handover and demands a strategic leader with a strong background in oil and gas or similarly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of construction managers across all phases of the project.
2. Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of construction activities in line with EPC standards.
3. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and client teams to ensure seamless project integration.
5. Drive performance, productivity, and continuous improvement across construction operations.
6. Provide strategic input and leadership during project reviews and client engagements.
Key Requirements:
7. Proven experience managing large-scale EPC construction projects.
8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
9. Background in Nuclear (preferred), oil and gas or other highly regulated industries.
10. Demonstrated ability to manage projects from engineering phase to client handover.
11. Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
12. Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
13. Relevant professional certifications (eg PMP, NEBOSH, SMSTS) are advantageous.
