Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Oldham to work on a long-term basis starting in March!

This is an exciting role for a New or experienced Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
1. Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on a 1:1 or small-group basis to access the curriculum and stay engaged in learning.
2. Implement and follow Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), behaviour plans, and targeted intervention strategies set by the class teacher or SENCO.
3. Assist with classroom management, behaviour support, and emotional regulation to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
4. Adapt learning resources and activities to meet individual needs, including supporting communication, social skills, and independence development.
Essential Qualifications:
5. Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent childcare / education qualification).
6. Minimum 6–12 months UK experience supporting children or young people with SEND in an educational setting.
7. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals.
9. Excellent verbal communication skills
