Overview
A warm and welcoming family in St Albans, Hertfordshire is seeking a caring, energetic part-time nanny to look after their 9-year-old daughter. She is a bright and creative child who loves reading, drawing, crafts, and listening to music.
Responsibilities
* Providing attentive care and fun and engaging activities for their daughter
* Taking care of nursery duties such as her laundry and keeping her bedroom organised (the family employs a cleaner)
* Helping the household run smoothly between cleans – e.g., emptying the dishwasher and ensuring rooms are tidy at the end of the day
* Preparing healthy, nutritious meals, ideally home-cooked. If time allows, some batch cooking would be a bonus
* Making sure she has everything needed for the following day (uniform, sports kit, packed lunch, etc)
Requirements and Benefits
* Location of the job: St Albans, Hertfordshire
* Minimum experience level: Two years
* Training/Qualifications: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12 hour paediatric first aid
* Qualifications preferred: Level 3 Childcare if possible, experience essential
* Driving: Yes – own car required – duty mileage to be paid
* Animals in the home: No
* Pay: £10,400 gross per annum with mutually agreed overtime paid at £20 gross per hour
* Job Start Date: ASAP
* Hours: 15.00 – 20.00 (10 hours/week), two days per week (Thursday fixed, second day flexible)
* Contract: Permanent
