Key responsibilities: Carry out daily deliveries from Birmingham to London. Collect items from delivery points and return to Birmingham base. Ensure timely and accurate completion of delivery and collection documentation. Ensure all customer and internal queries are handled efficiently, with prompt responses via telephone and email. Perform basic checks and maintenance of the van to ensure roadworthiness. Comply with road safety legislation and SCC driving policies. Liaise effectively with the logistics, stores and repair centre. Maintain security and care of goods during transit. Report any issues or delays promptly and professionally. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times. Skills and experience: Valid full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points. MPPV2 clearance (must be held or obtainable). Previous van driving experience, ideally including London route planning. Excellent timekeeping and reliability. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and handle items safely. Flexible, professional, and self motivated.
