Job Description

The school is seeking a talented educator with strong subject knowledge who can inspire creativity across KS3-KS5. For the right candidate, there is the opportunity to step into a Head of Department role or take on additional responsibilities within the Art faculty.
The school is aiming to appoint the successful candidate before December 2025.
What You'll Do
Teach engaging and inspiring Art lessons across KS3-KS5
Encourage creativity, self-expression, and artistic development in all students
Contribute to curriculum design and enrichment activities within the Art department
Take on additional leadership responsibilities - mentoring colleagues, supporting curriculum planning, or leading department initiatives
For experienced candidates: step into a Head of Department role and lead the faculty forward
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Art or a related subject
Strong teaching experience with evidence of excellent outcomes in Art
The ability to inspire students and foster creativity at all levels
Ambition and vision to take on leadership responsibilities within the department
Excellent communication, organisational, and mentoring skills
