As a Warehouse Assistant based in Basildon you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out general warehouse tasks, including booking in stock, putting stock away into designated locations and maintaining high standards within the warehouse
* Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency (This may involve heavy lifting) .
* Loading and unloading vehicles.
* Assisting customers at the trade counter as and when needed, providing prompt and efficient service while building strong relationships.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am - 6pm. No weekend work required.
And here's what we'd like you to have:
* Previous experience working in a warehouse environment would be ideal but not essential as training will be provided.
* Confidence in engaging with customers and delivering outstanding customer service.
* A dependable, hardworking team player who's open to learning
* Basic computer literacy.
