We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our client’s team in the Halesowen area on a permanenr 2pm - 10pm shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and engaging HSE professional to play a key role in maintaining and improving safety, health, environmental, and waste management standards within a production/manufacturing environment. Working as part of the Integrated Management System (IMS) function, you will provide expert guidance, support compliance, and promote a strong safety culture across the site. Key Responsibilities ·Advise on health, safety, environmental issues, and waste stream management ·Support and monitor onsite visitors and contractors through induction processes * ·Review Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) * ·Conduct site inspections to identify:·Unsafe equipment, ·Hazardous working conditions and practices, ·Fire risks, ·Environmental aspects and impacts. * ·Produce detailed reports with corrective recommendations * ·Carry out observational inspections as required * ·Complete health & safety assessments, including: * ·Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments * ·Equipment inspections and compliance checks * ·Ensure fire safety standards are maintained * ·Manage accident/incident reporting and associated documentation * ·Support and contribute to the Integrated Management System (IMS) * ·Undertake additional ad hoc duties as required Essential Skills & Experience * ·Proven experience in a similar Health & Safety role within a production/manufacturing environment * ·IOSH Managing Safely Certificate (minimum requirement) * ·NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable) * ·Environmental qualification (essential) * ·Experience delivering training on safe systems of work * ·Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees, managers, contractors, and visitors * ·Approachable and collaborative working style * ·Well organised and professional, with the ability to work under pressure * ·Able to work independently and as part of a team * ·Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines * ·Computer literate * ·Must be eligible to work in the UK What You will receive * ·Competitive salary of £41,000 * ·Annual bonus * ·Permanent, stable position * ·Supportive and collaborative working environment
