Our busy and friendly payroll service manages all aspects of payroll administration, and we are now looking for a motivated individual to join us.
We are seeking someone who is self‑driven, flexible, and highly organised, with proven experience working to tight deadlines. Our ideal candidate will be analytical, methodical, and detail‑focused, supported by strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of HMRC legislation is beneficial, and previous experience in payroll or a financial environment is essential. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accurately input payroll data into the DCC Payroll and HR Management System (iTrent) within required timescales.
2. Calculate emergency payments and undertake complex calculations, including third‑party accident claims, overpayments, sickness and family leave, annual leave, and more.
3. Stay up to date with statutory and organisational changes, interpreting complex payroll legislation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
4. Handle enquiries via phone, email, and letter on detailed matters such as National Insurance, pensions, income tax, salaries, annual leave, and sickness calculations.
5. Run multiple pay runs and ensure all associated processes—such as Full Payment Submission/BACS—are completed to strict deadlines.
