 
        
        Registered Nurse - Substance Use Services
This vacancy is within the Community Alcohol and Drug Service (CADS) at Falkirk Community Hospital. The role is a Band 5 Registered Nurse position, requiring a 1st level Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) degree with an interest or experience in substance use services.
The successful candidate will:
 * Provide training, leadership and supervision to nursing students and non‑registered staff delivering evidence‑based interventions to people with substance use problems, including alcohol problems.
 * Implement the principles of the recovery model of care and treatment for drug and alcohol related issues.
 * Receive formal, structured supervision monthly to ensure patients progress along the recovery pathway and receive appropriate clinical interventions.
 * Promote an integrated model of care in collaboration with partner agencies.
 * Travel throughout the area of service delivery as required.
 * Maintain membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
Qualifications:
 * Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) at degree level.
 * Experience in substance use services or a related field.
 * Strong interpersonal and team‑working skills.
 * Ability to lead and supervise staff and students.
