Puro Associates are currently seeking a highly motivated Bookkeeper to join an established firm in their Macclesfield office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company, with the chance to take on new challenges and progress your career.
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper Job:
* Maintain and update financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as they arise
* Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
* Preparation of Quarterly VAT Returns
* Communication with clients, to request documents and statements
* Performing day-to-day bank and ledger reconciliations
Requirements of the Bookkeeper Job:
* Previous experience within a UK accountancy firm.
* Knowledge of various software including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, is an advantage
