Are you a passionate and inspiring English Teacher looking for your next full-time role? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in Blackpool seeking a dedicated English specialist to join their team from September 2026.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations with confidence and clarity
* Create a positive and stimulating learning environment
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Work collaboratively with the English department to maintain high standards
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
* Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
* Ability to start full-time from 13th April 2026

* All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
