B6 Specialist Paediatric Dietitian role at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust
Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our Paediatric Dietetic Team at East Sussex Healthcare Trust. This exciting and innovative post works within paediatrics across primary and secondary care in East Sussex. Applications are invited from HCPC registered dietitians who are keen to advance their clinical, professional and leadership skills within Paediatrics. Ideally you will have a minimum of 12 months general dietetic practice within the NHS as a Band 5 Dietitian and be keen to move into a Band 5‑6 progressor role.
Responsibilities
* Hold a clinical caseload and work in paediatric ward, special care baby unit and outpatient clinics.
* Help develop new resources and improve the paediatric dietetics service for our patients.
* Attend meetings and training across the wider county of East Sussex; possession of a car and driver licence is essential.
* Support a varied paediatric caseload across a range of clinical conditions.
* Receive regular supervision and competency training; access to postgraduate funding for professional development.
Qualifications
* HCPC registered dietitian.
* Minimum 12 months NHS general dietetic practice (Band 5).
* Drive licence and own car.
* Experience or interest in paediatrics preferred.
