VANRATH are delighted to partner with a leading construction firm to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant for their Cookstown head office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, dynamic team and develop your finance career within the construction sector.
What You'll Get

3. Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

What You'll Do
5. Match and review invoices against delivery notes and orders
6. Process invoices using Sage 50
7. Reconcile supplier statements and prepare month-end payment runs
8. Reconcile debit and credit card statements
9. Manage supplier and staff queries and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly
10. Prepare financial reports and maintain organised records
11. Support general administrative and accounting duties
About You
12. Minimum 12 months' experience in an accounts role
13. Sage 50 experience essential
14. Construction sector experience a plus but not essential
15. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
16. Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
17. Good numerical and analytical ability
18. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
19. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
20. Team player with the initiative to work independently
