Our client based in Biggleswade is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join their team. This role offers a guaranteed permanent position upon successful completion of a temporary trial period. All successful candidates will be required to complete an induction and training programme prior to commencing duties.
Details:
* Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Sunday
* Start: 05:00am / 06:00am
Rates of pay:
* £19.50/hour
* Overtime paid at time and a half after 47.5hrs
Job description:
* Completing 14 to 18 drops dependant on location.
* General driving duties and collections
* Heavy lifting and unloading of cages is required
* Provide excellent customer service
Requirements of the LGV/HGV Class 2 Driver
* Full UK C1 licence (essential)
* Maximum 6 points on your licence
* No previous disqualifications
* Knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD regulations
