Part time annual salary £13,.12 up to £14,.60 (based on working 21 hours per week)
Full time annual salary £26,.24 up to £28,.20 (based on working 42 hours per week)

Due to the growth of our service, we are looking for Support Workers on either a full or part time basis to work across the already established CQC rated ‘Outstanding’ Cambian Shap Road and our NEW PROVISION, soon to open within the local area!

8. Successful applicants will be rewarded with the completion of a Care Certificate (Level 2) and a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care. Full training for career and personal development will also be provided.
Shap Road & our new provision are registered care homes which provide care and support for up to 4 individuals in each home from 18 to 65 years with autism, learning difficulties, and complex health needs. With an Outstanding CQC judgment. Cambian Shap Road is probably one of the best residential care homes of its type in the county. Located in the picturesque town of Kendal it provides exceptional care and support for adults with learning disabilities and or challenges within the autistic spectrum.
The successful candidates will be working between Shap Road and our soon to open new service, with a group of adults who are very happy and safe and who show high levels of respect and kindness towards each other. The life skills, support and care that we provide makes a significantly positive difference to their lives and relatives have commented that the exemplary support their children receive has, ‘changed their lives and given them hope’.

You will be part of a large supportive care team who work holistically across Care, Therapeutic & Clinical services supporting each other’s practice to deliver specialist residential services to those with additional and complex needs, including Autism, severe learning disabilities and complex health needs.
