About us
At Rainbow we initiate a variety of pedagogical approaches in the teaching and learning methods we use with our children, these include ideas from Piaget, Steiner, Vygotsky as well as Reggio Emilia philosophies when exploring during our Forest school sessions.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
* Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
* Monitor and assess children's development and progress
* Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about their child's day
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery
Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
* Creativity and ability to engage children in learning activities
* Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs
* Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment

Commitment
The position is work for around 30 hours per week during term time only. During the holidays you will be required to work for a day or two as we are open all year round. However, this can be discussed further.
