Your Role as a Teaching Assistant:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities for students.
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
Help students with special educational needs (SEN), providing additional guidance and assistance as required.
Support students' social and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and building confidence.
Assist in monitoring student progress, helping to track achievements and areas for improvement.
Help create a safe, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and motivated.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure each child's educational needs are met.
Who We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (or in a similar role) within a primary school setting is preferred but not essential.
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with young learners.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
A passion for supporting children's learning and helping them achieve their best.
An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
