Scope of Work: Website Testing — A Little Space for Parents
Squarespace Platform — Members Area Focus
Overview
A Little Space for Parents is a digital support platform for parents of young children, delivering short audio micro-tools via a Squarespace website. We are seeking a website tester to review our site with a particular focus on the members area — how users access it, navigate it, and experience it — prior to launch. You will provide a structured report of findings.
Objectives
To ensure that the members area is fully functional, intuitive, and working reliably across devices and browsers. We want to know that a new member can sign up, access their content, and use the platform without friction or confusion.
Scope of Testing
Sign-up and onboarding flow — Complete the full journey from landing page to becoming a member. Note any points of confusion, unnecessary steps, or drop-off risk. Does the process feel clear and welcoming? Does the confirmation work correctly?
Login and access — Test logging in as a returning member. Test password reset. Test what happens if incorrect credentials are entered. Confirm that gated content is not accessible without login.
Members area navigation — Is the layout intuitive? Can a member easily find the audio tools? Is the content organised in a way that makes sense to a first-time visitor who may be stressed or time-poor?
Audio tool functionality — Every audio player should be tested. Does each one load? Does it play, pause, and resume correctly? Does it work on both mobile and desktop? Note any tools that fail to load or behave inconsistently.
Mobile experience — The majority of members are likely to access the site on a phone, often in a hurry. Test the full members area journey on iOS and Android. Flag anything that is difficult to tap, slow to load, or awkward to navigate on a small screen.
Content and formatting — Check that all text, images, and audio descriptions display correctly within the members area. No placeholder text, broken images, or formatting errors.
Account management — Can a member update their details or manage their account without issues?

Back-end development, SEO audit, brand or design feedback (unless it directly affects usability), and Squarespace template modifications.
Timeline
Testing to be completed and report delivered within [7 working days] of access being granted.
Reporting Format
A single structured document (PDF or Google Doc) organised by section, with screenshots or screen recordings embedded or attached. A short summary of critical issues — particularly anything that would prevent a member from accessing or using their content — should appear at the top. Issues should be prioritised as critical, minor, or suggestion.
Contract duration of less than 1 month.
