We are seeking Trainee Copper Engineers to support work across West, Central and East London. This opportunity is suitable for individuals operating on a sub‑contractor basis who are looking to build experience within the telecommunications sector.
You will be engaged to complete assigned works in line with agreed service requirements, quality standards and health & safety obligations.
Scope of works
As a sub‑contractor, you may be engaged to:
* Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of copper network infrastructure
* Attend residential and commercial sites to complete assigned tasks
* Carry out fault identification and basic rectification work
* Use your own skills, judgement and experience to complete works safely and efficiently
* Complete required job documentation and updates via agreed systems
* Deliver a professional service when interacting with customers and clients
What we’re looking for
We welcome interest from individuals who are new to telecoms as well as those with relevant transferable experience.
Essential requirements:
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to complete essential technical training and achieve required qualificaitons
* Good communication skills and a professional approach
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience in telecoms, utilities, construction or a hands‑on technical role
* Awareness of industry health & safety standards
