Job Description
The MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) Construction Manager shall be responsible to the Delivery Project Manager for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all MEICA activities on site.
Responsibilities
You are responsible to your Line Manager stated below for the execution of your individual job responsibilities. You shall:
* support your Manager and the staff under your control;
* maintain a good working relationship with Client and associated personnel;
* manage and control your section of the work according to agreed programmes and
* be conversant with all drawings, specifications and related information for these works.
The MEICA Construction Manager shall be responsible to the Delivery Project Manager for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all MEICA activities on site. Apart from Health and safety obligations the MEICA Construction Manager duties include but are not limited to:
* Supervise / co-ordinate MEICA sub-contractors
* Review and approve the MEICA sub-contractor Quality Plans and ITP's
* Reviewing MEICA method statements
* Co-ordinate / program MEICA activities
* Testing and witnessing of mechanical and electrical plant
* Issuing electrical permits
