Job Description
Reporting to the CEO, we are seeking an experienced and strategic CFO - International to join our leading, listed consumer goods client. This hire plays a crucial role in financial leadership, strategic decision-making, and investor relations. The job description for this position includes:Investor Relations and Communication
1. Lead the US listing process, due in late 2027
2. Lead investor relations activities, including organizing and participating in investor road shows
3. Serve as the primary representative for the company's financial matters, articulating the organization's value proposition and growth strategies to investors
4. Conduct quarterly earnings calls, explaining financial results to analysts and investors
Financial Leadership and Strategy
5. Provide strategic financial direction for the company, distribution & franchise partners.
6. Oversee all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities in conjunction with the board of directors
7. Cash Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment strategies to optimize returns while maintaining appropriate levels of liquidity.
8. Change Management: Drive higher efficiency in the finance function by implementing new tools and processes.
9. Assess organizational performance against annual budgets and long-term strategy
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Oversight
10. Play a key role in M&A activities, from target identification to post-merger integration
11. Lead financial due diligence on potential acquisition targets
12. Lead the integration of financial and operational systems post-acquisition
Compliance and Risk Management
13. Ensure accuracy and completeness of the company's financial statements
14. Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
15. Implement and oversee strong internal controls and risk management systems
Team Leadership and Collaboration
16. Provide strong functional leadership to Finance, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and M&A teams
17. Collaborate with other C-suite executives and divisional heads to drive company-wide initiatives
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
18. Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
19. Proven experience, fifteen or more years, in a finance leadership role within the consumer goods, beverage or retail industry, in a listed business
20. Strong understanding of consumer goods sector, ideally with exposure to F&B for 3-5 years
21. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
22. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
23. Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of effectively leading and developing high-performing teams.
24. Experience in a global role or exposure to multiple regions across APAC, EMEA, Americas is highly preferred.
25. Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and drive results in a dynamic environment.
26. Ability to travel globally, up to 50% and flexibility for short term relocations, during IPO and/or M&A is a must.
