Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Operative - Melton Mowbray -£32,000 – £35,000 (DOE) Accommodation
Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm, with every other weekend required
The Job:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Anaerobic Digestion Operative to support the day to day operation of its anaerobic digestion plant in Melton Mowbray. This is a hands on role suited to someone with an interest in renewable energy, plant operations and agricultural systems. Previous exposure to AD plants is beneficial but not essential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily operation and monitoring of the anaerobic digestion plant
- Feedstock handling, loading, and basic plant maintenance
- Monitor plant performance, alarms and system outputs
- Carry out routine checks to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Support compliance with health & safety, environmental and operational standards
- Record operational data and report any issues to the site manager
- Assist with general site duties as required
The Candidate:
- Previous experience or exposure to anaerobic digestion plants is desirable
- Background or interest in agriculture, engineering, plant operations or renewables
- Practical, hands on approach with good attention to detail
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- Strong awareness of health & safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
The Package:
- Competitive salary of £32,000 – £35,000 DOE
- Accommodation available if required
