About Glencairn :
Glencairn is a family-run business with over 40 years of experience in crystal glassware, design, and bespoke decoration. From our East Kilbride factory, we develop, design and supply high-quality products to an established and growing worldwide customer base.
With a foundation in family values, Glencairn is committed to its people and the contributions each of them can make towards a successful, supportive and cohesive organisation, regardless of their role. If these are values you share, we would love for you to join our team.
About the Role:
We're looking for a creative, hands-on person to join our design team as an Artwork Trainee.
This role is a great fit for someone fresh out of college or just starting their career, who's keen to learn the ropes and grow into a design role. You'll be working closely with our design team leader to make sure all artwork is ready for the production team, who bring everything to life on-site. On a typical day you'll be processing web orders, creating artwork for customers' personalised glasses and gifts, supporting the design team with their everyday tasks and helping to keep our artwork files and systems organised.
There's plenty of room to learn and grow in this role. With training and experience, you'll have the chance to progress into a designer role, contributing to the premium packaging we create for the drinks industry.

What We Are Looking For:
* A basic background in graphic design (NC/NQ level or similar)
* Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
* Someone who's organised and can juggle different tasks without getting flustered
* Comfortable chatting with customers and working with the team
* Familiar with Microsoft Office
* Keen to learn, get stuck in, and grow with the role
* A fun, creative personality that will add to the team vibe
