THE ROLE
Working at a world leading company, you will gain experience working in a fast paced and driven manufacturing environment that is continually developing. The successful candidate will be working with a team of driven individuals to manage the goods storage in the warehouse and prepare the loading area to fulfil the high production demands in compliance with working instructions, safety guidelines and ISO 9001 standards.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operator forklift trucks and other material handling equipment such as reel clamps and PPTs.
2. Move the pallets around the facility and stow them in the correct storage bays, ensuring space optimization.
3. Manage the warehouse operations in line with the system requirements and work instructions.
4. In compliance with the loading schedule prepare the loading area, ensuring load is correct and documentation is signed.
5. Load trucks if and when required.
6. Perform daily equipment checks identifying and reporting and damages and faults to maintain daily functioning.
7. Ensure that all required documentation is completed efficiently and accurately.
8. Observe the products to identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies.
9. Carry out periodic stocktaking activities and any other reasonable requests.
10. Work closely and in cooperation with the Day services and Shift teams, supporting colleagues throughout.
11. Continually ensure a high level of housekeeping is maintained throughout all working areas.
12. Ensure Health & Safety rules are always adhered to by yourself and others.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
13. Must have prior experience in a manufacturing / production environment
14. Must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence.
15. Show attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
16. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
17. Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
SHIFT PATTERN
18. Monday to Friday - 06:00 - 14:00 - 37.5 hours a week
