Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Shift Controller to join us at our Lutterworth Site, as a Production Shift Controller to manage production lines across designated shift. The Production Shift Controller plays a key role in managing labour to meet planned volume and commercial targets in accordance with QA and safety standards, whilst ensuring that best practice is followed at all times.
The role is a permanent full time role working Monday to Friday working from 06:00am - 14:00pm.
Salary: £39,729 per annum
What you'll be doing:
To effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targetsEnsure the final product meets client specifications (SPI)To effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on a hourly/daily basisEffectively use the integrated management systems (VISION)To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulationsTo ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company proceduresTo ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and externalTo ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered toAssist in the development of a skills matrix for all production workersTo attend Line leader meetings, and relevant training courses, as and when requiredTo assist in the identification and development of Line Leaders to promote success planningTo assist in the training and development of new startersQualifications
What we're looking for:
Experience of working in a customer-led environment with changing priorities.Experience of manufacturing machinery and processes.H&S L2 Qualification.NVQ L2 in Team Leading of Packing Operations.Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner.Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to strict deadlines.Recognises and promotes the importance of continuous improvement.Able to work towards targets.Additional Information
