Hours: 14 hours/week (2–3 days, flexible)
Rate: £12.60 per hour
Contract: Temporary (Emergency Cover)
Essential: PVG check and previous care experience
Occupational Requirement: Female applicants only (Equality Act 2010)
We’re on the lookout for a compassionate and cheerful personal assistant to support a warm and witty 78-year-old woman in her day-to-day routine.
She experiences limited mobility and would appreciate some help around the house and a companion who enjoys a chat and brings a positive energy.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with mobility and transfers
Help with personal care including showering
Light housekeeping tasks
Prepare simple meals
Offer companionship and emotional support
This is a rewarding opportunity to make someone’s day better, every day. A strong sense of empathy, a good sense of humour, and a background in care are essential. The role may grow to include more hours over time.
