We’re looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to manage the Gatehouse Cafe at The Lodge Nature Reserve.

Our Food and Beverage teams raise vital funds which enable us to carry out globally important conservation work in the race to save nature.

About the Role
You will be based at The Lodge Nature Reserve, Potton Road, Sandy, SG19 2DL.
This is a Permanent role for 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7, with daytime shifts and the flexibility to determine your working pattern.
Salary range: £26,379 - £28,319

Key Skills Areas

* Lead the Food and Beverage team in day-to-day operations.
* Commercial awareness, knowledge of budgets, controlling costs and maximising income.
* Sets and monitors targets to deliver organisational goals.
* Builds and maintains strong working relationships, working collaboratively with the wider Reserve team.
* People management skills including setting objectives and providing feedback.
* Provides a warm welcome for our visitors, is helpful and friendly with a positive attitude.
* Maintains food hygiene and health and safety standards in the work environment.
* Oversee development of a new outlet within the RSPB brand at our Headquarters location and supporting the development and implementation of future offers on site.

We are actively recruiting for this role and in the first instance an online interview will be offered to prospective candidates, followed by an in-person interview on site at The Lodge Nature Reserve. Initially looking at March 11th and 12th.
