The Role
As an M365 DevOps Engineer, you get to work with state-of-the-art technology and will be responsible for supporting Microsoft Azure and M365 Environment for Britain’s biggest generator of Zero carbon electricity.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge:
· Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure environment
· Knowledge of Microsoft Azure tenant-level configurations
· Experience in Exchange Online and MS Teams Administrator
· Knowledge in optimizing Microsoft 365 tools, supporting collaboration initiatives, and ensuring efficient use of productivity applications.
· Experience in Exchange Online and other M365 Collaborative tools/products like MS Teams, SharePoint, One Drive etc.
· Knowledge about License Management
· PowerShell scripting
· Knowledge about JIRA and ServiceNow tool
· Establish and maintain excellent relationship with customer stakeholders and develop processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness for the client as an on-going basis.
· Maintain regular contact with Line Manager / Senior Stakeholders to update and appraise them on critical business issues and data points.
· Develop and maintain positive relationships with other business partners, both internal and external, ensuring best practice advice is shared and maximum efficiency achieved.
· Effectively and professionally communicate regularly with all functional teams and other parts of the company as required in the proper performance of such duties by regularly sharing information and building positive relationships to help achieve business goals and objectives within the account. Building positive relationships with external contacts to maximize efficiency and to represent the business in a professional manner always.
Key Responsibilities
Implementing Microsoft Azure tenant-level configuration, including
· Azure Active Directory administration
· Single Sign-on (SSO)
· Conditional Access Policy (CA)
· Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
· Identity and Access Management (IAM)
· Managing/Administering Exchange Online and other M365 Collaborative tools/products like Teams, SharePoint, One Drive etc.
· Configure and manage a Teams environment, channels, chats, and Apps.
· Manage Teams meetings, Phone numbers and services for Teams Phone.
· Monitor and troubleshoot Teams and Outlooks issues.
· Managing Microsoft 365 Groups and SharePoint Online
· Implementing PowerShell scripting
· Managing Active Directory & Active Directory Federation Services
· Manage ServiceNow queue and adhering to SLAs. Incident Management, Change Management and Problem management and handling severity incident, availability for on-call (on ROTA basis)
· Monitoring the Microsoft upcoming updates/changes and involve respective teams accordingly.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Understanding of ITIL/ITSM best practices and Agile Framework

Microsoft M365 External Certifications like:
· Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
· Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
· Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
· Excellent documentation skills for user training & technical documents
