Job Overview
We are currently looking for 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work 26 hours per week. This is a permanent, part‑time post within the Phlebotomy section of the Pathology Department at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect blood samples by venepuncture from wards, the Out Patients Department and outreach clinics.
* Assist in providing an efficient, caring and smooth‑running Phlebotomy service as part of a team.
* Work flexible hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays (extra remuneration is provided for staff on this rota).
* Adapt duties to meet the changing needs of the service.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Flexible and able to work 26 hours per week.
* Willing to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
* Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
* Suitable for training specific to the department upon commencement.
