Two positions available. Fixed term contract until 31 August 2026, subject to external funding linked to your allocated student. Term Time Only + 1 week. Part time - up to 31.25 hours per week. Salary: TPLTSS3 £18,896 - £19,195 (actual salary, based on 31.25 hours per week). Plus various Company Benefits.

The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit 2 Learning Support Assistants to work at Worle Community School – an Academy site in Weston-super-Mare, a five minute drive from the M5 junction, 2.9 miles from the beach, with strong public transport links.

This is an exciting opportunity within our SEND team, with the aim of supporting our students by enabling them to engage confidently and independently in their learning. What you will do to be successful here
* Deliver classroom support for pupils, planned and supervised by teachers (individual and small groups, e.g., SEND and Inclusion).
* Support colleagues by assisting with resource preparation, display and care and support of pupils including health care.
* Keep records of work to provide feedback and general support.
* Contribute to Student Profiles and PSPs.
What you will need to succeed
* A qualification in Literacy and Numeracy equivalent to GCSE Grade A*-C or Level 2, on the national vocational framework.
* Some experience of working with children, ideally in a school context.
* Basic ICT skills.
