Commissioning Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful commissioning of generators across the nation. You will work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and field technicians to ensure that generators are installed, tested, and fully operational.

The Role
1. Conduct site visits to assess generator installations and prepare for commissioning.
2. Collaborate with project teams to develop commissioning plans and schedules.
3. Perform functional tests, load tests, and performance tests on generators.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to generator operation.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during commissioning.
6. Provide technical support to field technicians during installation and commissioning.
7. Document commissioning activities, test results, and any modifications made.
8. Train end-users on generator operation and maintenance.
The Person
1. Willing to travel and work away (unless you live in a commutable distance to the site)
2. NVQ level 3 or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
3. Experience working with generators is desirable.
4. Electrically qualified & registered.
5. Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
6. Ability to interpret and follow electrical drawings and schedules.
7. City & Guilds 18th edition electrical regulations (or equivalent).
8. Hold a full UK driving licence.
