Prospero Teaching are supporting friendly and well-resourced primary schools across the Wirral who are looking to appoint a full-time KS2 Teacher for long-term roles starting in February. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 2 practitioner who enjoys delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they develop confidence, independence and strong academic foundations.
The role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and classroom support staff to create a positive learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed. Schools are looking for committed teachers who can maintain high expectations while building strong, supportive relationships with pupils.
Responsibilities
7. Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
8. Creating an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
9. Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
10. Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
11. Working effectively with teaching assistants and support staff
12. Encouraging positive behaviour and clear classroom routines
13. Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

The ideal candidate
18. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
19. Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
20. Confident, enthusiastic and able to deliver engaging lessons
21. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
22. Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards
23. Good understanding of safeguarding and primary school policies
