Our client, a leading educational institution in Ilford, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Mentor to join their dynamic team. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding students to develop positive behaviours and attitudes, ultimately contributing to their overall success and well-being. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for: Working closely with students, teachers, and parents to identify and address behavioural challenges Developing and implementing individualised behaviour support plans tailored to each student's needs Providing one-on-one mentoring sessions to help students develop essential life skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation Collaborating with the school's multi-disciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to student support Monitoring and evaluating student progress, adjusting support plans as necessary Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student interventions and outcomes Promoting a positive and inclusive school environment that fosters growth and learning To excel in this role, you should possess: A degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience working with children and adolescents with behavioural challenges Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities A deep understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to student success Proficiency in using educational technology and data management systems Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic school environment Our client offers a competitive salary range of £89 to £125 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
