INFORM3 Recruitment — HSEQ Manager
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a HSEQ Manager for a busy civils contractor based in Tyrone. The client is well known throughout the construction industry for high-quality workmanship and an organised approach to each project. The successful candidate will be familiar with Health & Safety practices within construction and will manage Health & Safety Officers / Advisors.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with the Project Manager and Contracts Manager
* Manage, update and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
* Develop all Health and Safety plans, highlighting any specific requirements for each project
* Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
* Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors, maintaining clear communication
* Ensure regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed with relevant paperwork
* Ensure all accidents/incidents are recorded, investigated and action plans are put in place for the future
* Liaise with internal and external auditors regarding Health & Safety processes
* Prepare and coordinate training for all employees, ensuring staff are up to date
* Attend meetings with Senior Management
* Attend Site Meetings
* Attend and Chair Health & Safety Meetings
* Maintain extremely high standards throughout the company
HSEQ Manager Specification
* BSc in Health and Safety / Higher Diploma
* 4 years plus experience in the Construction Industry
* Able to manage a Health & Safety team
* Excellent communicator
* NEBOSH Diploma
* Pro-active and self-motivated
* Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
* Full driving licence
