Area Sales Manager – Commercial Lighting Location: North West (Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire, Lancashire & surrounding areas) Salary: £40,000 basic uncapped commission (OTE £70K–£80K) Company Overview We are representing a well-established and rapidly expanding commercial lighting manufacturer that delivers high-quality, design-led lighting solutions across the UK. Known for their project support, technical capability, and reliable supply, they serve clients across the commercial, education, retail, and industrial sectors. The Role Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to drive business across the North West region. This is a field-based role focused on building relationships, securing specifications, and winning new projects through proactive engagement with key stakeholders. Responsibilities Drive new business and account growth across the North West Sell a full range of commercial lighting solutions to: • M&E Contractors • Electrical Wholesalers • Lighting Specifiers and Consultants Identify new project opportunities and develop them through to order stage Deliver product presentations and CPD-style meetings as required Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and generate repeat business Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to support delivery Requirements Proven sales experience within lighting, or electrical products Knowledge of the M&E contractor and wholesaler route to market Able to work independently, manage a large territory, and convert leads into projects Self-motivated with a strong desire to earn – uncapped commission potential Full UK driving licence Package Basic salary: £40,000 Uncapped commission – realistic OTE £70K–£80K Company car or allowance Apply now if you're a results-driven sales professional ready to build a strong patch with a forward-thinking commercial lighting manufacturer
