(Children and Young Person) Caseworker at Sunil Goel & Associates, CAs – based in our Shipley office, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9am‑5pm. Hybrid working can be discussed.

Role Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of the CYP Service Model for supporting children and young people who have been affected by crime. Develop and deliver innovative interventions to address the needs of children and young people. Work closely with children and young people in the Service to involve them in service design, delivery and evaluation. Manage a caseload of up to 30 cases.
 * Deliver support to young victims of crime using appropriate service guidance.
 * Support the policy framework.
 * Develop and enhance local key stakeholder relationships.
 * Maintain and enhance service delivery standards and effectiveness.
 * Reduce the risk factors around the young people.
 * Increase protective factors around the young person.
 * Increase the young person's resilience levels.
About You
 * Proven track record of successfully delivering services for children and young people and successful youth engagement in a comparable role within a service‑driven organisation of comparable size, scope and complexity.
 * Knowledge of safeguarding issues relating to children and young people.
 * Understanding and commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity.
 * Experience building effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
 * Understanding of the current issues for children and young people affected by or experiencing crime, domestic abuse and relationship abuse.
 * Knowledge of the requirement for confidentiality and safe working practice and maintenance of files in accordance with the Data Protection Act and other legal requirements.
 * Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System and Victim's Rights, awareness of the impact of crime including witnesses attending court and giving evidence.
