The role: Advise managers on HR matters, employment law, and best practice. Interpret and apply HR policies, including discipline, grievance, and attendance. Support investigations, hearings, and appeals with accurate documentation. Deliver early intervention and risk management through mediation and resolution. Manage employee relations and prepare documentation for legal proceedings. Lead recruitment, ensure accurate records, and liaise on payroll and contracts. Promote equality, train managers, and engage with stakeholders and unions. The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential: CIPD level 5 qualification Experience in Recruitment OR Employee Relations Knowledge of current employment legislation Ability to deal with difficult and sensitive situations in a diplomatic and professional manner; In addition to the standard pre-employment checks, this position will also be subject to receipt of a satisfactory Basic AccessNI check.
