Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour

We are seeking experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team, working across a range of primary and secondary schools in the Blackpool area. This is a rewarding and flexible role offering varied experience and the opportunity to make a real difference in young people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
* Assist class teachers with planning and delivering tailored interventions.
* Promote a positive learning environment and manage challenging behaviours.
* Support students with their emotional and social development.
* Adapt support according to individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience working with SEN and SEMH students.
* A valid UK driving license (essential due to travel between schools).
* Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and resilience.
* A flexible and proactive approach to work.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, Team Teach) are desirable, but not essential.
