This is a fantastic opportunity to join the current team of staff supporting Matthew, a delightful 18-year-old who sustained an acquired brain injury at birth. For manual handling reasons, this is a 2:1 support package and the fully adapted property houses all the equipment needed to promote Matthews safety and independence. His hydrotherapy pool allows for the provision of water-based therapy and fun time with his younger sibling and staff will be required to support Matthew in this activity.
Respecting the privacy and dignity of the client and his family, you will provide Matthew with companionship and support his independent living in a variety of locations, primarily the family home and the local community, plus support him to access leisure activities.
