Job Title: Finance Administrator Reporting to: Finance Manager Location: Wallingford, OX10 Hours: 30 hours per week over 5 days ideally Salary £21,600 (FTE £27,000) Main Purpose of Job: This role will provide the administration support to the Finance team. The role will work alongside other members of the Finance team to deliver timely and accurate financial information to the Senior Management and Operational teams and help maintain the financial records for Style Acre, Style Acre Trading and Acre Housing. Main Areas of Responsibility: Purchase ledger including checking invoices are authorised correctly, entry on Sage and raising payments. Sales ledger including raising invoices for support, utilities, our social enterprises and other costs as required. Allocating receipts to invoices and working with the finance and operational team to resolve queries as required. Ensuring payment for invoices for all entities are received on time and chasing any overdue amounts in a timely manner. Analysing and checking income received from local authorities highlighting to Finance Managers where amounts received are incorrect. Cash processing and preparation for banking. Processing of the bank and bank reconciliations. Processing of monthly credit card returns and analysis of costs. Other Responsibilities: Analysis, processing and reconciliation of various income, fundraising and costs as part of record keeping and to facilitate an understanding and communication to the operational teams. Assist with the annual Statutory Audit as required, including providing support and back up to the auditors for transactions. Support operational team as required with support, activities and fundraising events. Ensuring all financial records are stored and archived appropriately. Ad hoc analysis and support with projects as required. Team-wide Responsibilities: Continually working to improve processes and better meet needs of Operational Teams. Supporting Finance Director and Finance team in other tasks as required. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. Person Specification: Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications, Professional Memberships & Training : Experience of working in a Finance environment Strong IT skills particularly working with Excel and willingness to learn other how to use other systems Communication, Engagement & Relationships: Ability and willingness to work with and interact with people with learning disabilities.
