Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

ANZUK Education are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support pupils across KS1 or KS2, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
The school is known for its clear behaviour systems, supportive leadership and collaborative staff culture, creating an environment where support staff can thrive and make a meaningful impact on pupil progress.
Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*
Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support pupils’ learning
*
Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities
*
Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
*
Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development
*
Monitor and report on pupil progress where required
*
Contribute to effective classroom management and behaviour support strategies
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting
*
Be confident supporting pupils across KS1 or KS2
*
Demonstrate a proactive, flexible and supportive approach
*
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Show a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
*
Be enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning and development
