Company: Guy Carpenter Description: In this role, you will support the renewal of insurance programs for (MGA) clients and carriers. You will cultivate strong relationships with carriers in the MGA sector to understand their needs, generate capacity from Lloyd’s to support Binders in the North American region, and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with Binder markets and reinsurers to secure favourable outcomes for clients. You will have access to world-class resources, including analytics, technology, product expertise, and a robust network to drive growth in this dynamic sector. We will count on you to: Ensure timely follow-up on contract documentation and facilitate the smooth flow of materials. Address client queries and concerns promptly, resolving issues effectively. Build and maintain strong relationships with the London market clients, and colleagues. Stay informed about insurer and reinsurer capabilities, including product lines, capacity, and approvals. Demonstrate a keen awareness of market conditions to better serve clients and secure optimal terms. Document correspondence in accordance with GC procedures. What you need to have: Preferably ACII qualified or actively pursuing the ACII qualification. Demonstrated success in Insurance Broking or Underwriting. Strong understanding of the insurance market landscape. Experience in property and construction placements is a plus. In-depth knowledge of the North American binder and (re)insurance market. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and industry leaders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage potential conflicts of interest and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Ability to maintain composure under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
