Overview

As a member of Baxter's sales team, you'll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You'll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you'll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Responsibilities

* Develop and manage your business pipeline and fully own the sales process of Baxter's range of surgical operating tables.
* Become the knowledge base and trusted partner on the complete range of operating tables and accessories offered.
* Spend majority of time in the hospital environment (approximately 90%) discussing and demonstrating the operating theatre product range; support surgeons and theatre staff with patient/procedure positioning; engage with key decision makers in hospitals including unit and departmental management, procurement, finance and medical engineering partners.
* Act as the primary connection to healthcare professionals, representing Baxter and our products; collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and share insights to inform priorities and changes.
* Provide input on new markets and products and manage customer concerns as part of a patient-centric approach.


What you'll bring

* Degree or equivalent experience
* Strong commercial competence
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build new relationships quickly
* Ability to negotiate at highest levels within the hospital environment (C-suite level)
* Confident presenter
* Self-managed, organised, and takes ownership
* Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Applications
* UK Driving Licence
* Operating theatre environment experience, with a sound grasp of the various operating procedures (an advantage)
