Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Night Support Worker, you will be part of our Lancashire Young People Supported Accommodation services, assisting 18 young individuals (aged 16-21) at Parker House and The Bridge in Chorley. Your primary focus will be to:
* Provide security, peace of mind, and companionship during the night.
* Support young people who are facing homelessness, leaving care, or are at risk.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of each young person, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional development.

Are You the Ideal Candidate?
Key Duties Include:
* Staying awake and alert throughout your shift.
* Ensuring the safety and welfare of each young person, seeking police support when necessary.
* Offering empathy and compassion during challenging night-time hours.
* Maintaining accurate records using a computer.
* Following procedures for reporting missing young people.
* Communicating effectively with out-of-hours support teams.
* Answering phone calls professionally and responding to inquiries.
* Being a positive role model for both colleagues and residents.
