Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school based in Congleton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people in their education and development.
About the role:
* Start- date: 8th September
* Part-time opportunity
* Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for permanent contract with the school
The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and SENCO to support students both in the classroom and in small group/1-1 settings. The role will involve helping to create a positive, stimulating, and supportive environment for all students, including those with additional learning needs.
You will:
* Provide in-class support across a range of subjects and year groups (Year 7-11)
* Assist with differentiated learning activities within the schools SEN department
* Support SEN/EAL students both socially and emotionally
* Manage student behaviour in line with school policies
* Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
What we’re looking for:
* Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
* Experience working with young people (in a school or similar setting)
* Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic
* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
