This leading retailer is seeking a Senior Non-Food Buyer to manage a key category, focusing on NPD and creating a compelling product range. This role is initially on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
Responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with Merchandising, Design, and Quality teams to expand into new product categories and enhance existing ranges.
2. Managing daily range development, including sample development and selection.
3. Conducting sales analysis using market and customer insights to inform buying decisions.
4. Sourcing, developing, and growing the product range.
5. Defining pricing and promotional strategies for the category.
6. Achieving commercial targets to maximize revenue and margin.
7. Traveling within the UK and EU for trade shows, competitor shopping, and supplier visits.
8. Working with the e-commerce team on content and photography.
