As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to provide high-quality care and assistance that enables each pupil to reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing learning environment. Healthcare Assistant Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and support to pupils with PMLD. Assist with feeding, mobility, and medical interventions as required. Support teaching staff in delivering tailored educational and therapeutic activities. Ensure pupils' safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the school day. Maintain accurate records and follow individual care and support plans. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive outcomes for pupils. Healthcare Assistant Attributes: Proven experience supporting children or young people with PMLD. Previous experience working within a school or educational setting. A caring, patient, and professional approach to your work. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
